When diving at the Great Barrier Reef, I always hope to encounter the green turtle. Not only because of their red list endangered status and my desire to create wall art that celebrates their gentle beauty, in the hopes that I can help spark conversation and awareness around the need for their conservation.
But also because green turtles are absolutely fascinating to capture on camera. Which was precisely the case with the green turtle in this image, who was resting peacefully on a healthy patch of staghorn coral near Lady Elliot Island when I carefully approached. Her calmness and stillness inspired the same feelings in me; the perfect reminder to appreciate the opportunity to rest and heal, even in the busy hecticness of modern life.
100% Australian made, this wall art is ideal for anyone looking to support the conservation of the endangered green turtle, with a percentage of every sale from my underwater photography donated to support marine conservation efforts. Choose from canvas print and metallic print options, both framed and unframed, and acrylic wall mount options too. Domestic and international shipping is available.
